KS1000 Polycarb Rooflights

Installation:

KS1000 Polycarb rooflight should be laid with the side lap joints away from the prevailing wind unless otherwise shown on drawings. All fasteners, seals and fillers to be of correct specification and installed as indicated by Kingspan Technical Design Bureau.

Fasteners to be checked and adjusted if necessary to ensure they are weather tight and external rooflight facing is not distorted.

Safety:

The contractor is to determine and use a safe system of working throughout the installation and construction period, which complies with the H.S.A or H.S.E and CDM requirements.
Crawling boards should be used when fixing rooflights.

Note:  In the interest of Safety, you should NEVER walk on a rooflight no matter what grade or construction it may be.
