By combining PIR composite panel technology with the traditional appearance of brick, Kingspan Insulated Panels has produced an exceptional next-generation cladding system offering an authentic finish and quick installation.
The Kingspan Thermabrick complete wall & façade system provides a hard-wearing, attractive and cost-effective method of achieving a traditional appearance with a simple, single-fix construction solution. Importantly, it can be quickly installed without the need for wet trades or masonry skills.
By removing the need for a weather-sensitive wet trade, the system takes the architectural façade off the critical path of a project. Kingspan is the producer and sole supplier of this innovative cladding solution, incorporating the Novabrik mortarless brick system from Acheson & Glover which is available in a range of colours and can be installed up to 6.5 metres in height.
Kingspan Thermabrick is part of the company’s Complete Wall and Façade System, which also includes Kingspan Thermastone, Thermatile and WoodTherm, all of which can be seamlessly integrated with each other to create endless possible looks and finishes. Kingspan Thermabrick has passed the CWCT Standard Test Method for Curtain Walling as well as BSEN13830 and BS8200 (testing at 500Nm soft body and 10Nm hard body, making it suitable for vandal prone areas). The high performance PIR composite panel is capable of achieving excellent U-values and air tightness to help meet Building Regulations requirements.
Importantly, it is available in FIREsafe form with LPCB approval to LPS 1181 and achieves a grade EXT-A60 to BS 476 Part 22 testing, providing a minimum of 1hr 20mins insulation and 3hr integrity protection. The ECOsafe core is also FIBREfree, removing the risk of loose fibres being released and compromising hygiene standards.
