Kingspan Insulated Panels have announced plans for a webinar examining the important issue of sustainable construction. Set for June 18th, this informative online event can be viewed live and will also be available to watch online for a period of 12 months after the event.
As the name suggests, a webinar is a web-based seminar. The aim is to provide easy-to-access information on sustainable construction from the industry experts at market leaders Kingspan and the influential BRE Global group.
Kingspan’s Divisional Building Technology Director Mark Harris and Commercial Director Tom McGuiness will give their views on the subject, alongside Principal Consultant Kristian Steele of BRE Global. There will also be three informative animations narrated by Alistair McGowan covering the subjects of ‘Our Sustainability Journey’, ‘Renewable Energy’ and ‘End of Life Management’.
Coping with increasing demand for sustainable buildings is a major issue for the construction industry. This has to be balanced with a challenging regulatory environment and the importance of maintaining the long term viability of the sector.
The seminar will not only discuss the sustainability credentials of construction products, but will also take a look at relevant end of life management strategies for composite panels. The matter of current and future regulation will be raised, as well as an examination of demonstrable methods for better sustainability in practice.
The event will be viewable live from 11am on June 18th and is expected to last for around one hour, including a 15 minute Question and Answer period at the end of the presentation.
