This latest addition to the Kingspan range, which was developed due to a demand for a regular repeating profile, offers designers and property owners with a metal cladding system that can be laid horizontally or vertically and can be used where planning constraints require the profile to match existing adjacent buildings.
The striking box appearance of the KS1000 FC Five Crown system contrasts or compliments the existing range of Kingspan wall panel profiles, working particularly well with the popular KS1000 RW Trapezoidal Panel System. The simple integration alongside doors, windows, glazing, louvers and traditional construction materials makes it ideal for both new build and refurbishment projects.
The system can be utilised across all sectors such as retail, commercial and leisure, and with lengths up to 15 metres KS1000 FC Five Crown is especially ideal for industrial/distribution buildings.
Kingspan’s factory pre-engineered, single component systems optimise build speed and therefore reduce installation time and cost. Five Crown enables quick and easy on site installation and boasts a number of performance advantages backed up by the Kingspan TOTAL Guarantee which covers the thermal, structural and coatings performance for up to 25 years.
Offering 100% reliable thermal performance and insulation continuity meaning: no cavities, no gaps and no cold bridges, Five Crown is fully compliant to Part L2A (England and Wales) and Section 6 (Scotland) Building Regulations, as well as achieving a Class O fire rating in accordance with the Building Regulations when tested to BS 476, the KS1000 FC Five Crown system is also certified to Loss Prevention Council Board (LPCB) LPS1181.
The Five Crown insulated wall system is available in various colours and finishes and is also fully supported by Kingspan Envirocare Technical Services, providing advice and support on how best to comply with building regulations.
Kingspan panels comply with ISO 9001: 2000 standard and are a CFC/HCFC-free, non-deleterious product with zero Ozone Depletion Potential. Also due to the superior build quality and excellent thermal performance, maintenance is minimal and energy usage is lower resulting in minimised Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions.
