Kingspan Insulated Panels have recently launched Kingspan Envirodek, a structural green roof solution that offers a range of environmental benefits over traditional roofing systems, along with excellent installation efficiency.
Kingspan Envirodek is an insulated roof deck that has been specifically developed to support extensive and intensive green roof systems. It can also be used to create curved roofs down to 15m concave and 30m convex radius, with the ability to support loads of up to 500 kg/m² at 2.5m double spans.
Eliminating secondary steelwork also completely removes an entire phase of construction, thereby increasing speed, site productivity and quality. The system has proven truck-to-roof installation, with safe site-handling equipment available. Using this equipment can allow build speeds of up to 1,000m² a day.
