Kingspan Door Components launched a new 'plus' range which has a more durable coating. This change as come about as a direct result of listening to customers feedback and reacting in a positive way. The result being a definite 'plus' for everyone.

Customers found the Silver RAL 9006 polyester finish door panel susceptible to being scratched when being installed. Clearly this detracted from the aesthetics of the end product and was a cost within the supply chain.

By working with our steel supplier, the remedy was found in a polyurethane finish (also known as the Kingspan Spectrum coating supplied by Kingspan Insulated Panels) which is three times stronger and therefore three times harder wearing than polyester. It was recently launched as RAL 9006plus and at no extra cost to our customers.

The new finish has been well received in the market place and is now extended to Aluminium Grey (RAL 9007plus), Anthracite (RAL 7016plus) and the brand new addition of Traffic Grey A. (RAL 7042plus), which are popular and ‘on trend’.

As the below flyer shows, Silver RAL 9006plus, Micro-Rib Door Panel is now available to perfectly match the ever popular Kingspan Architectural Wall Panels supplied by Kingspan Insulated Panels and to give your building the sectional door it deserves.
